MONOGRAM is providing professional Interior Design services for the renovation of a Luxury Lifestyle property in Southern California.
Our client wanted to refresh their existing image and shift to a more mature and refined design. Looking to re-position themselves in the market, they asked MONOGRAM to craft a design that reflects where they saw themselves. Moving away from trendy elements the new design creates a subtle and rich architectural solution that redefines the interiors. Warm wood tones and neutral colors in the finishes create a sophisticated background for the refined furnishings selection. Vitrine displays were designed to highlight the client’s art collection in a tasteful manner. The walls feature ribbed wood strips adding further depth to the design through texture while maintaining the simple material palette. Glints of brass, polished marble, and bronze mirror add further refinement to the design. The resulting design is an elegant solution to a space in need of a much-needed refresh. The furniture and bold area rugs define zones for gathering without being rigid in their layout, encouraging free movement and impromptu gatherings of guests.
With a focus on corporate meetings and events, the client wanted to have a meeting space design that reflected their core audience. Continuing onwards from the lobby design, the same warm tones and sophisticated palette was brought into the meeting areas with additional enhancements. In the main ballroom space large panels of wood slats which add warmth and act as acoustical treatments we added to the ceiling, eliminating the previous exposed structure design to create a more finished interior space for events and meetings. A bold carpet was design as a custom-made element inspired by modern art. The pattern reads as an overall across the ballroom, while also still working when the space is divided without having to define rigid zones as is more common. The walls are treated with wood and fabric wrapped panels to soften the interior forms and provide further acoustical enhancement.
