MONOGRAM is excited to be providing professional Interior Design services for the conversion of a multi-use office building to include a Lifestyle boutique hotel in the downtown of Tucson, Arizona. The Project entails approximately 9 floors, 141 Guestrooms & Suites, Reception, Lobby/Lobby Lounge, Restaurant/Bar, Market with Fitness and Business Centers.
MONOGRAM’s design will invite the guest to immerse themselves in the history that Tucson has to offer at the Hotel. The re-imagined spaces blend the old with the new to provide guests an opportunity to “reflect” on Tucson’s past, explore the present, and write their own story of discovery in the City. The journey begins when the guest enters the hotel off the shared Lobby through an antique rustic plank door. The portal opens to a cozy living room filled with local historical art and eclectic furnishings from different eras. The space begins to reflect the story of Tucson’s transition from “Cowtown to Desert Metropolis.” The colors chosen with a muted neutral palette is meant to accentuate and highlight the natural beauty of the Sonoran Desert, with punches of green that evoke a feeling of abundance in the desert landscape. The warm quiet tones promote a sense of peace that encourages guests to relax and reflect.
Nature and the urban environment merge within the Bar/Restaurant as native vegetation, local heirloom crops and a menu of locally inspired flavors blend to provide a relaxed opportunity to connect and engage with nature.
The guestrooms offer wall to wall glazing with panoramic views of the city and the mountains beyond. Furnishings provide modern conveniences with the comfort of vintage décor elements and whimsical touches that will surprise and delight the guest. The artwork features local artists representing images that tell the story of Tucson’s beginnings and growth.
