An excerpt from the ribbon cutting blog post article:
In her remarks, Kris Thompson thanked the many supporters of this project, “Together, we have taken two old, fairly run-down buildings and turned them into a safe and comfortable home for women who have experienced crisis and violence. With our colleagues in the DV community, we are identifying women who will be the first residents here. We hope they will find all they need to build a new foundation for themselves – case management, employment services, education classes, therapy, addiction recovery groups, a supportive staff, and a community of women who will offer care and support to one another.”
