The 5-star JW Marriott Mexico City, located in the upscale Polanco District of Mexico’s capital, received a comprehensive renovation to the property. Design began in 2011 for renovations that included all 283 guestrooms, suites and corridors. Public areas included the transformation of the current lobby into a new JW Marriott signature “Interactive Lobby”, a repositioning of the 3-meal restaurant and an expansion to the fitness center and amenity spa.
Phase II of the project included the demolition of existing fifth floor loft apartments to create a new state-of-the-art Junior Ballroom and pre-function area and expanded current meeting space areas. MONOGRAM teamed with colleagues in Mexico City to combine MONOGRAM’s hospitality expertise with on-the-ground architectural support.
