The BBGM-designed Cambria Hotel has formally received LEED Gold Certification. BBGM designed the new 154-room Cambria hotel located at 69 Q Street SW in downtown Washington, DC, in collaboration with Washington, D.C.-based developer Donohoe Development. The hotel resides within three miles of the U.S. Capitol, the National Mall, Smithsonian museums and other major attractions. The Cambria hotel includes a full-service restaurant & bar, scenic rooftop bar with expansive exterior terrace with views of the Capital Skyline, Nationals Park and Audi Field. It also features a fitness center and 2,500 square feet of multi-function meeting space. The welcoming lobby with an expansive LED wall creates a dynamic experience. BBGM served as the Architect for the project.

The LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) rating system, developed by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC), is the foremost program for high performance buildings, homes and communities that are designed, constructed, maintained and operated for improved environmental and human health performance.
