Washington, D.C.-based developer Donohoe Development has broken ground on the new 154-room Cambria hotel planned for downtown Washington, DC. The hotel resides within three miles of the U.S. Capitol, the National Mall, Smithsonian museums and other major attractions, and will include a ground level restaurant, scenic rooftop lounge, fitness center and 2,500 square feet of multi-function meeting space. BBGM is serving as the Architect for the project.

The 154-room, nine-story Cambria Washington D.C. Capitol Riverfront, what will be the fourth Cambria in Greater Washington, is expected to open in early 2021 at 69 Q St. SW. It will feature a ground-floor restaurant and 3,500-square-foot rooftop terrace, spa-style bathrooms with bluetooth mirrors, 2,500 square feet of multifunction meeting space, and a fitness center.
